I made a visit to Seattle in the USA on March 20th 2005, for 5 days with work. Seven of us from Airbus UK in Filton, Bristol flew from Heathrow to Seattle, for the final design review, and to see the progress of the build of theA400M final wing assembly jig and CAWDE drilling machine at Electro Impact in Mukilteo, North Seattle. We flew direct from London Heathrow with British Airways to Seattle-Tacoma Airport (Sea-Tac), we stayed at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Lynnwood North Seattle for 4 nights, and flew back from Seattle on Thursday 24th March 2005, and arrived on Good Friday. Unfortunately I was unable to take many pictures, due to being mainly occupied by work during the day, and by a variety of bars in the evenings. Hopefully I will get more of a chance to do some sightseeing the next time that I visit; hopefully in May or August.

Electro Impact (HBAF) Seattle, Washington, USA The whole reason for our trip to Seattle, was to visit one of our key machine and tooling suppliers. We spent all week at EI in Mukilteo, North Seattle, for a series of final design review meetings, and to see the progress of the A400M final assembly jig and the CAWDE drilling machine Make a visit to EI at www.electroimpact.com
