Here are a couple of photo's from the town of Mitterteich, which is located in the North East of Bavaria, Germany. You are probably wondering why I would visit a small town in the middle of nowhere, well it is where my girlfriend is from, and where her parents still live. It is situated only 6km from the Czech Republic border at Waldsassen / Svaty Kriz, and so is an ideal point from where to base yourselves to visit the former German, but now Czech towns of Marianske Lazne (Marienbad), Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad), Frantiskovy Lazne (Franzesbad), and Cheb (Eger).

I bet you are thinking that there can't be a lot to picture, if I have only photo's of the church... Well that's not totally true, there are some other nice places, but I just couldn't be bothered to take any more photo's. I will make more of an effort next time, I promise!
