We were most gratefully invited to attend the wedding of Jonathan & Tracy Bray on the 10th of August 2001, which included the wedding ceremony at a small catholic church in Kenfig Hill and the reception afterwards at Bryngarw House. Here are the pictures that I managed to take of the happy event; I didn't take a lot of photo's as I was too busy enjoying myself (getting p*ssed!), so I have also included a few pics received from Martin Smith, to make the numbers up. I had to do a bit of pre-planning before the wedding to organise transport and accommodation for some of the guests who were flying in from Munich to London Heathrow. I collected Korina, Martin and Kristen from Heathrow on the Friday evening ready for the big day on the Saturday, we were all staying at the Holiday Inn Express at The Derwen for the weekend. The reason for the choice of hotel, was it's superb location, it is situated on Junction 36 of the M4 motorway, which is only 2 miles from where the reception was being held, 10 minutes from the church by motorway, and a nice straight run to the Airport.

Nestled within 113
acres of Country Parkland, Bryngarw combines the noble character of a Celtic
Baronial home with the style & sophistication of a Country House Establishment.
Dating back to 1743 Bryngarw's structure of grey sandstone was built in the
Tudorbethan style by the Traherne family. Over two hundred years later,
following major renovations and refurbishment, the character and relaxing
atmosphere still remains and is enhanced by modern creature comforts.
